business taxes

Question by Luis: How hard is it to do your own business taxes and accounting?
Is it easier now with the different softwares for it or is an accountant still a must-have?

Also, when starting up, can an accountant be omitted from the calculations to cut costs and just be added in later when the business makes enough to make it affordable?

Q&A: Do taxes REALLY directly affect the cost of doing business?...

business taxes

Question by Emily: I have a question about small business taxes regarding profits?
I have an LLC in California.

If I pay taxes on the first years profit, and what’s left of my profits rolls over to the next year do I have to pay taxes on them the next year also? Or is it just for the one year?

To be more clear, do I keep paying taxes on the profits from the years before or is it just each years profits are calculated that one year and only taxed that one year?

Question by gws35: If leftists want us to be like Norway&Sweden, why don’t they cut business taxes and tax personal income more?
Progressive countries like Germany, Norway, and Sweden have very low business taxes, and they have the highest personal income taxes in the world.

This creates the business-friendly environment that makes the economy flourish, then the people are happy to pay the high income taxes because their pay is higher and they get social programs that benefit everybody, such as universal health care.

Why do liberals want only the goodies, but not nurture the business sector so we can…

Question by Ohio_Voter: Did Obama’s 30-min infomercial explain how RAISING corporate and business taxes will create jobs?
Did it show how RAISING corporate and business taxes during a sluggish economy will actually help companies hire more people?
To poster “Carpe Diem”: Obama says he wants a 00 business tax break for every new employee. A mere 00 tax break? Are you kidding me? Doesn’t it cost a company K -K on average to employ someone?
